Group 1: Immigration
Group 1's presentation covered immigration. I very much enjoyed their presentation as they made it enjoyable and informative. In their presentation they covered the many different kind of policies on immigration, a brief period of history of immigration, also the legal process one has to go through to be processed, and they did very well in addressing and stating this information about immigration and i like how well structured they had put together their power points were. One of the presenters that really caught my eye was one that was covering the effects of immigration on the economy, three articles that are currently happening in the U.S. and common misconceptions that people have on immigration. I enjoyed how clear cut she was in presenting her information and was thorough in her research and getting her points across. All in all, group 1's presentation was very informative, and they made it easy to stay engaged with their presentation.
Group 2: Education policies
In group 2's presentation they are talking about education policies, they had their presentation well-structured and appealing. Although they ran into some issues with their presentation as one person had to set up a video for his presentation given that it was outside, there was quite a bit of background noise making it hard to understand and the other presenter did not attend making the audience miss out on that portion of the presentation. The information that was provided was informative, straightforward and simple to understand about the topics that the group discussed. Although this group faced challenges in presenting, they pulled through and were able to get their points across. All in all, this groups presentation was good, well informing and the people that did present made it easy to grasp the information pertaining to education policies.
Group 3: The electorate and election process
Group 3's presentation was about the electorate and election process, with election day around the corner the timing of this presentation couldn't have been better. In this presentation group 3 goes over key points about this topic like the early years and changes of the electorate in this country, how important we as the people are to our democracy and also talking about how some influential presidents and historians who shaped history in this country. They also covered the importance of an electoral college. Even though were some technical difficulties with one of the presenters she still able to interpret her part of the presentation very well. All in all, this presentation was well structured and informative, the presenters made their points simple and straightforward making it easy to understand the importance of the electorate and election process.
Group 4: Gender Equality
My group that was in charge of presenting about gender equality that's been going on for the past almost 180 years. In our presentation I feel we did a good job at interpreting our information and the presentations looked visually appealing, I feel that on my part I could have done better and provided more information when it came to my topic, I was lacking information pertaining to my topic and I could have added more to better interpret the information I was presenting. Everyone else did a fantastic job on their end when presenting their topics and engaging the audience. Especially one person in our group who was presenting about leadership representation, annual wages and solutions toward the disparities between man and woman in the workforce. Overall, in our presentation I believe everyone did their part well in presenting the information and keeping the audience engaged with this presentation.
Great! Exactly what I wanted!
